In short

  • We collect what you give us directly — mainly through our contact form, newsletter sign-up, and email — plus basic technical data needed to run the site.
  • We never sell your personal information, and we only share it with the service providers needed to run our website and deliver our services.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing .

1. Overview

FinixSoft ("FinixSoft", "we", "us", or "our") provides software development, digital marketing, and IT consulting services, and operates the website at finixsofts.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Site, submit a form, or engage us for services, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit your information to us.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

  • Contact form: name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, an approximate budget range, and your project message.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
  • Direct email or WhatsApp: anything you send us when you email or message us on WhatsApp, including your phone number and message content.
  • Client engagements: if you become a client, additional information necessary to deliver the project — for example, billing details, technical credentials you choose to share, and communications during the engagement.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard web log data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes.
  • A small amount of local browser storage used to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode) and, once enabled, your cookie consent choice. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.
  • If we enable analytics tools in the future (for example, a privacy-respecting or Google Analytics-style service), we will update this policy and our cookie banner before doing so, and aggregate usage data such as pages viewed and time on site will be collected.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and follow up on a project or quote request.
  • To send the newsletter you signed up for, and other service-related updates if you're an active client.
  • To deliver, manage, and invoice services once you've engaged us.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including diagnosing technical issues.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4. Cookies & tracking technologies

The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar local-storage technologies — some strictly necessary to run the Site (like remembering dark mode), and others, only once you consent, to help us understand how visitors use the Site. Full details, including the specific items stored and how to manage them, are in our Cookie Policy.

If you're located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for newsletter sign-ups and any non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to deliver services you've engaged us for.
  • Legitimate interests — for responding to enquiries, keeping the Site secure, and basic web analytics, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain records for tax, accounting, or regulatory reasons.

6. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers who help us run the business — for example, our website hosting provider, email delivery service, and, where you contact us that way, WhatsApp Business (governed by WhatsApp/Meta's own privacy policy).
  • Payment processors — if you make a payment to us online, the transaction is handled by our payment partner (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy); we do not store your full card or bank details ourselves.
  • Legal requirements — if required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or respond to a lawful request from a public authority.
  • Business transfers — if FinixSoft is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here.

7. Data retention

We keep contact-form and enquiry data for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and for a limited period afterward in case you follow up, then delete or anonymize it. Client engagement records (contracts, invoices, project communications) are retained for as long as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes, typically several years after the engagement ends. Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before withdrawal.
  • Request a portable copy of the information you provided to us.

To exercise any of these rights, email with your request. We'll respond within a reasonable time and may ask you to verify your identity first. If you're in India, these rights are also supported under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; if you're in the EEA/UK, under the GDPR/UK GDPR, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children's privacy

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. International data transfers

We're based in Pune, India, and our service providers may process data in other countries, including where our hosting or email infrastructure is located. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an equivalent level of protection to that described in this policy.

11. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and limiting data collection to what's needed — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information appropriately protected and will notify affected users if we become aware of a breach that puts your information at risk, as required by law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll provide a more prominent notice on the Site.

13. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, reach out to us directly.
